MRF & EKTELON ARE IMPACTING WOUNDED WARRIORS THROUGH REHABILITATION RACQUETBALL CLINICS

WheelchairshotMILITARY RACQUETBALL FEDERATION (MRF) and TEAM EKTELON have a true commitment into making a difference to those service members injured in combat.

In the past year, with the help and backing of EKTELON,
MRF has traveled nation-wide hosting multitude of one
and two-day rehabilitative racquetball demonstrations.
As a non-profit organization, MRF is dedicated to
improving the quality of life of those armed service
members through our clinics as a means to promote
physical fitness and increase moral for the participants.

Since 2009, we have hosted several RRCs on military
installations and VA medical centers, which have
increased awareness of the benefits of racquetball.
In past year alone, there have been over 587 participants
(wounded warriors and disabled veterans) introduced to the sport, 213 were directly impacted by going through an 8-week basic training course, and 26 to graduate from these clinics.  These clinics have received several letters of endorsements from various Army Medical Centers and VA medical centers.  MRF’s clinics have directly enhanced our patients’ level of endurance, strength, overall weight management, and built strong camaraderie amongst the participants. The MRF’s RRC program provides wounded warriors the opportunity to improve fundamentals while increasing strength, endurance, and most importantly confidence.
