| Answer : Ektelon maintains that its racquet frames are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Ektelon will repair or replace at its discretion any frame or shoe found defective, provided it is returned through an authorized dealer (with proof of purchase) at the purchaser's cost to the Ektelon Service Center within the warranty period with the procedures set forth above. Any frame, repaired or furnished, as a replacement under this policy will be covered by the policy only for the remainder of the original one-year period. This policy does not apply to any condition caused by negligence, abuse, or error in maintenance or handling (including damage caused by faulty stringing or faulty repairs performed by purchaser or any third party). This policy does not apply to the strings of any racquet. Any warranted product should be returned to the place of purchase along with a proof of purchase so the dealer can send the racquet back to Ektelon HQ's for a warranty evaluation. If the racquet was not purchased in the United States, contract your appropriate International Distributor. If you are a sponsored player under contract with Ektelon, call Ektelon Customer Service for a Return Authorization Number. You may return racquets for warranty ONLY within the sponsorship season in which the racquets were shipped to you. |
